V, the Paths of Silence:
The paths of Celestine are "paths of
silence". Speaking are not only men
but also the stones of the hermitages and
of the mountains of the regions Abruzzo:
places of the soul, evocative and dramatic
scenery of the extraordinary human and spiritual
fortunes of a great man.
At the beginning of the 13° century,
a tragic century of hopen and conflicts,
the saintly hermit Peter from Morrone became
Pope under the name of Celestine V but he
had the awesone courage to resign.

V, I Sentieri del Silenzio:
I sentieri di Celestino sono "sentieri
del silenzio"; a parlare non sono solo
gli uomini ma le pietre degli eremi e delle
montagne d'Abruzzo; luoghi dell'anima, suggestiva
e drammatica scenografia delle straordinarie
vicende umane e spirituali di un grande
uomo.
Il santo eremita Pietro da Morrone, al limitare
del Duecento, secolo tragico di speranze
e di conflitti, divenne Papa col nome di
Celestino V, ma ebbe il coraggio terribile
della rinuncia. |
